In January, 1984 President Ronald Regan issued a proclamation designating Sunday, January 22 as the first National Sanctity of Humane Life Day. On January 22, 1973, the U.S. Supreme Court legalized abortion-on-demand in all 50 states. Since then, the third Sunday in January has been observed by churches as Sanctity of Human Life Sunday. This year, the observation takes place on Sunday, January 21. A March for Life takes place not only in Washington, DC this weekend, but also in Casper, Wyoming. Why do we march? Because we're living in a culture of death, and Jesus came to bring life. Read more on this blog post.
