"Unplanned" Shines the Light on the Darkness of Abortion
tags: abortion, pro-life movie, Unplanned, Abby Johnson, abortion healing
Abby Johnson’s story is compelling. A former Planned Parenthood clinic director in Texas – she even won an Employee of the Year award – this young woman walked away from money and prestige after witnessing an abortion. She once believed she and the organization she worked for were helping women, but her mind and heart opened to the truth of what abortion does to women … and to the unborn. Thanks to brave people like Abby and the producers, writers, and directors of PureFlix, God’s light of love, mercy, and truth will be broadcast throughout the country. We can help that light shine.
Embrace Grace: Bringing Our Brokenness to God
tags: grace of God, showing grace to others, Embrace Grace program, helping women who experience unplanned pregnancies
Through a partnership with Paradise Valley Christian Church, True Care is launching a new program, Embrace Grace, which seeks to bring single women who experience an unplanned pregnancy closer to God. The Bible tells us that “all sin and fall short of the glory of God” (see Romans 3:23). Many times, women with unplanned pregnancies feel judged by the church. Through Embrace Grace, they will find love and grace through a relationship with Christ and through the love poured upon them by the church. Learn more about this exciting new endeavor on this week's blog post.

She was assessed as likely to abort when she came for her pregnancy test appointment at True Care. Thirty-year-old Dani worked in the medical profession and had taken a nasty fall at work. She required surgery; then, Dani suspected she was pregnant. The father of her child wanted her to abort. Dani couldn’t believe she was faced with such a choice. Yet, her concerns about the upcoming, needed surgery, taking pain killers while pregnant, and the pressure from the baby’s father made her seriously consider abortion. True Care was there for Dani because you've been there for True Care. Be part of our financial goal on #GivingTuesday, November 27 so together, we can help more "Danis." The Closing of Wyoming’s Planned Parenthood Clinic and What That Means for the State’s Pro-life Movement
tags: abortion, wyoming, Planned Parenthood Casper, prolife, pregnancy centers, unplanned pregnancy options
Last week’s Casper Star Tribune headline announcing the closing of Wyoming’s only Planned Parenthood (PP) clinic not only made Wyoming news, but also national news. The clinic, located in Casper, will shut its doors for good in July. Planned Parenthood clinics across the country are shutting their doors, including two in Colorado, three in New Mexico, and four in Iowa; several of these facilities don’t perform abortions, but, as is the case at the Casper clinic, PP staff refer clients for abortion elsewhere. Pro-life medical pregnancy centers can fill in the gap in many ways. Find out how and find out how prolife individuals and churches can help.
