Standing on God's Promises
tags: True Care Casper WY, non-profit mission, donations, pro-life, pregnancy center support
Each day True Care staff and volunteers gather for prayer before opening our doors to patients. We pray for the women who have appointments; we pray for each other; and we pray for our supporters. We thank God daily for those who stand beside us, and we thank Him for his presence in our ministry. We thank Him for all the promises He gives. Pro-life work isn’t easy. Yet, even in darkness the light shines, through our abortion recovery program and even simply in the love and compassion bestowed on our patients. Many, even those who go through with an abortion, return for another pregnancy because of the love of Christ lavished upon them. As we enter the last quarter of the year, we continue standing on God’s promises.
A Reflection on the Abortion Industry’s Attempt to Squelch Organizational Freedoms
tags: abortion, constitutional freedoms, pro-life, NIFLA vs. Becerra
Nearly one year ago, the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) affirmed the rights of pregnancy centers by striking down a state law that violated basic freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution. That ruling affirmed the rights of free speech and freedom of religion. Despite this important court decision, abortion activities continue to stir their supporters with false narratives such as 'expose fake clinics.' The battle for life continues.
An Advocate's Story & The Importance of Volunteers

Volunteers are important to True Care’s mission; we cannot serve in this ministry without them. Recently, one of our volunteers, who serves as an Advocate for the women who come through seeking medical confirmation of their pregnancies, shared her “best day” with us. Read what she has to say and consider giving your time to God's work here at True Care. We treasure and appreciate ALL of our wonderful volunteers, some of whom have been with us for nearly a decade!

"Unplanned" Shines the Light on the Darkness of Abortion
tags: abortion, pro-life movie, Unplanned, Abby Johnson, abortion healing
Abby Johnson’s story is compelling. A former Planned Parenthood clinic director in Texas – she even won an Employee of the Year award – this young woman walked away from money and prestige after witnessing an abortion. She once believed she and the organization she worked for were helping women, but her mind and heart opened to the truth of what abortion does to women … and to the unborn. Thanks to brave people like Abby and the producers, writers, and directors of PureFlix, God’s light of love, mercy, and truth will be broadcast throughout the country. We can help that light shine.
As we know, late-term abortion has become the new “normal” these days. Ever since New York passed a law allowing the procedure into the 8th and 9th months, more states have taken up the infanticide mantel, including Virginia, Rhode Island, and Vermont. Colorado also has a late-term abortionist. Still, we in the pro-life arena have much to praise God about!
Scripture tells us, “Thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Corinthians 15:57). Sometimes we humans dismiss the small wins. At True Care, we do celebrate victories, large and small. Read about some of those, including a legislative win for pro-life supporters, on our blog this week.
In a world that celebrates the death of unborn children, those on the front lines to protect life can feel like a tidal wave of darkness is about to drown us. Late-term abortions happen in six states and the District of Columbia. How do pro-life people, including pregnancy center staff and volunteers, shine a loving light upon a dark culture?
In the Lord's Army - For Life
tags: abortion, pro-life, March for Life, Casper WY, standing firm in faith
Each day, True Care staff and those involved with pregnancy centers across the country put on the armor of God, for we are part of His army for life. One of True Care’s core values is being Christ-centered. Without Christ as our commander-in-chief, pro-life work could not be the force that it is, in our community and in our country. Read more about how that armor helps us help the women who walk through our doors by reading this blog post.
She was assessed as likely to abort when she came for her pregnancy test appointment at True Care. Thirty-year-old Dani worked in the medical profession and had taken a nasty fall at work. She required surgery; then, Dani suspected she was pregnant. The father of her child wanted her to abort. Dani couldn’t believe she was faced with such a choice. Yet, her concerns about the upcoming, needed surgery, taking pain killers while pregnant, and the pressure from the baby’s father made her seriously consider abortion. True Care was there for Dani because you've been there for True Care. Be part of our financial goal on #GivingTuesday, November 27 so together, we can help more "Danis." The Power of Prayer

There is power in prayer. We know from Scripture that “we wrestle not against flesh and blood … but against the spiritual forces of evil…” (Ephesians 6:12). And, we know in this world evil runs rampant, but, we are encouraged through God’s word to not give up the good fight – prayer is a weapon we can all employ. Learn more about the need for prayer on behalf of pro-life pregnancy centers like True Care by reading our blog post.
Pregnancy Centers Offer REAL Choice for Women Facing Unplanned Pregnancies
tags: abortion, pregnancy choices, abortion pill reversal, pro-life, pro-choice, Pregnancy Help News, California Board of Registered Nursing
In July, the California Board of Registered Nursing approved continuing education classes for nurses on abortion pill reversal. Last week, the organization had a reversal of its own – its previous decision. Abortion advocates, such as Planned Parenthood, who tout “choice” in their verbiage, don’t seem to be about choice at all. If they were, why dissuade a board of nursing from offering “choice” by instructing nurses on the procedures for abortion pill reversal? Pregnancy centers, like True Care, offer real choice, providing information and medical services a woman needs without making money from her decision. Read more about the facts of real choice, including abortion pill reversal, on this week's blog.
The Benefits of a Resource Program
tags: pregnancy centers, pro-life, resources to help pregnant women, abortion
Nearly four years ago, True Care Women’s Resource Center partnered with what is now known as the Healthy Birth and Infant Brains (HBIB) Foundation to help women have healthier babies. The mission of True Care – to erase the perceived need for abortion by effectively serving pregnant, at risk women, turning their fears into confidence – aligns with the mission of the HBIB Foundation – to help women have healthy pregnancies and lessen the chances of learning disabilities and developmental delays in children. By connecting pregnant women with community resources, agencies and organizations that can meet their various needs, True Care’s patients find the confidence they need to carry their babies to term, erasing that perceived need for abortion. Learn more about the importance and benefits of a resource program for pro-life pregnancy centers like True Care on this week's blog.
"Fake Clinic" Campaign Reminds Us We're in a Battle
tags: pregnancy centers, fake clinic campaign, pro-life, spiritual warfare
During the last weeks of July, pro-abortion groups rallied like-minded people to protest, pose as fake clients, and leave negative online reviews, all endeavors to attack pregnancy centers across the country. This organized "fake clinic" campaign reminds us as pregnancy centers and pro-life advocates that we are engaged in a spiritual battle and we need to put on the full armor of God daily. True Care Expands Medical Services with Abortion Pill Reversal
tags: abortion pill reversal, True Care Casper, abortion pill, pregnancy centers, pro-life, Wyoming pregnancy centers
When True Care Women’s Resource Center in Casper, Wyoming became a medical clinic 12 years ago, we envisioned helping more abortion-minded women see the truth of life via ultrasound. We wanted to become more relevant to our target audience by offering important medical services at no cost. Beginning this week, we are expanding our medical services to include Abortion Pill Reversal, a new treatment for women who have started a chemical (or medical) abortion and regret that decision. Many people don’t realize that the abortion pill can sometimes be reversed. The reversal process is called Pregnancy Sustaining Progesterone Therapy (PSPT) or Abortion Pill Reversal, and starting tomorrow, July 11, 2017, True Care's staff will be offering this treatment to women who thought abortion was their best option but now regret that choice. Read our post to learn more!

Read our blog post this week to see what we have learned about the subject and some Biblical principals we who trust in Christ should apply in every aspect of our lives, including the discussion of abortion with others.
